[pyrnet] Re: pigmentaion

I have a question about pigmentation. In Paul Strang's book The New Complete
Great Pyrenees he talks about how to check pigmentation when buying a
puppy. He lists three ways 1.a black palette 2.black nails 3.patches of dark
skin on undersurface of belly. The question I have is will you see this
trait in an all white Pyr as well or because of being all white does that
automactically reduce the level of pigmentation in a dog? The reason I am
asking is in checking my Pyrs my all white male does not seem to be as black
on the roof of his mouth as my female Pyr. Is this because he is all white
or because his pigmentation is just not as good as hers?
