Re: [pyrnet] Newspaper story about the saint biting

Carol, thanks for writing about this. I do know that I did not read this
story in the 70's, I was living here when I read it, and so it has had to
be in the last seven years. I don't know if it is similar to, or if the
article I read was a story about that particular dog done at a later time
in conjunction with another bite? Forgive me Joe if this makes the point
somehow less valid? With all the animal cruelty these days it very well
could be another incident. In any event it does point up my desire to
really "know" what is going on and what triggers any dog. We may not
like that children get bitten or killed in our society, but we should
always look for the reasons, if for no other reason than to protect the
next child. Simply killing off dogs is only the easy solution, not the
best one. IMO.

Also enjoyed your story about the Halloween episode Carol. I think
Monica handled it beautifully, I am not sure what more a person could ask
for ( but I am sure someone will tell me ), and I understand your respect
for her. You did not say if the owner kept Monica or returned her to
you?
Thanks again! Cindy
