Re: [pyrnet] CHAT: road rage incident
Karen, thanks for passing that on. I saw where it was finally coming up,
as they reviewed the story from the events when they happened. Said the
fellow claimed the dog bit him, and that's why he tossed it?? In the
first place and most importantly, what was he doing with his head and
arms even in the car, any dog would have reacted to that protectively!
Secondly witnesses said he really flung the dog, not dropped it. I was
glad to hear he got three years, although I still doubt it will ever
happen, sadly. I often wonder why these people never stick their heads
in a car with a big dog?
We have had cases of eye-gougings in young dogs in our area of Texas.
They did get some changes in laws, because of the brutality, although
still not what they need to be. It seems that the ability of humans to
be cruel is endless. Of course good, caring people try their best to off
set it, but it must seem never ending.
Thanks for mentioning that the guy did get sentenced, I was curious.
