We have hardwood in the bedrooms, where the pyrs don't come all that
often--cooler downstairs! But even there it does suffer from being
scratched up some, even though we keep toenails short etc. I would think
having hardwood in areas where the pyrs spend a lot of time would mean
refinishing fairly regularly, but others might have had more experience
with this than I.
