[pyrnet] Pyr puppy health

Hello,

We are due to get our long awaited Pyr puppy this Friday and I am currently busy puppy proofing. We have a very nice kennel built, but already the sparrows have started building their nest between the top of the cyclone fencing and the actual roof of the kennel. Since they are occupying these nests they are also soiling the concrete floor. I am wondering if I should remove these nests before the puppy arrives? Are there any health concerns (salmonella, e. coli) associated with the droppings, feathers, etc?

I think the young sparrows have already fledged this year so we would not be killing any little ones by removing the nests.

Your advise would be appreciated. Thanks.
