This is a very serious problem indeed. I must admit I have never had a pyr
overly protective of the car. I have seen pyrs at dog shows that put a very
big fuss  when they are crated, and handler and dogs are passing by. Again
my pyrs are very good about it.

I really feel there is nothing like early obedience training for any breed
just not pyrs. Dog need to know what we humans want and what we will put up
with.
Having said that, it is so said many folks get that puppy, put it in the
back yard and just leave it. Many times no training at all. This maybe the
case with Angus.

I would be interested to hear from the long time pyr breeders, what they
would do in a  situation like Angus?.......
