It's funny but the two meds worked just the opposite for me. Thor was put on
Rimadyl when he was about eight. He got extremely lethargic and lost
interest in food and had all the negative side effects that they report
within two days of starting it. He was switched to Etogesic and then the
generic Etodolac (cheaper) and he was much better... terribly
gassy...terribly wallpaper removing gassy...eyes tearing up gassy but it
helped him get around better so it was worth the trade off. He was on it
until he passed away at 11+ years of age. Nancy
