Re: [pyrnet] Hot Spots

Can you tell me more about this fish oil supplement? Brands or ingredients
in it and dosage amounts? I just got off the phone with my best friend Dawne
and the plan for the beasty Eiger on Saturday (and I have to whisper here)
is to wash him really thoroughly with the non-allergenic soap..she's going
to make sure that I get him completely rinsed out (I could have been goofing
up, he has such heavy hair now thanks to the thyroid meds). Then we're going
to try the vinegar and water rinse. Is that a one to one mixture? Dawne does
grooming and she can quality control me :) . She's going to check his anal
glands. She says I had the vet check him last October when I first got him.
I would like to start him on that fish oil supplement if this doesn't work,
followed by veggie diet, allergy testing, and everything else you have all
been kind enough to suggest. I'm almost thinking the vinegar may do the
trick as I have been giving him that to clear up the horrible ear infections
he had and it has worked wonders for him. I think he's just a terribly itchy
guy. You guys are great. I'm so very glad to be a part of this list. Nancy
