Re: [pyrnet] Hi protein

Hi Stephanie: Sorry that message went out to everyone. I actually meant to
forward it to my husband. We've been feeding our dog Purina's Nutritional
Excellence chow on the advice of our vet. He took her off higher protein
dog food because of his concern that her bones were growing too quickly when
she was an adolescent. We've kept her on that ever since (now she's four)
but worry about cancer since it seems to be a real problem with these dogs.
Hence the alarm. I've heard other vets recommend the Nutritional Excellence
food as well. I wonder if it's that good or just widely recommended because
of Purina's extensive promotion.

Barbara
