Ginger, it might have just been her causing these reactions.  I have had
two females spayed in the past couple of years, and both came through the
surgery without a single problem.  They were up and about immediately after
and although they weren't too active, they didn't have any of the symptoms
that you described.  Could have had something to do with the anesthesia
that was used (don't know what my vets used) and the sensitivity of your
girl.
