Our rescued girl CiCi is afraid of any loud noise.  Even when we yell loud
to get someone's attention she heads for the bathroom ( no windows).  But
when we have a thunder storm, she runs for our bedroom and puts her head
under the bed and gets very upset and agitated.  The only way to get her to
settle down is to lay with her.
