   Yeah! Actually, my parents did that for their old Standard Poodle when he really needed a very soft place to lay in old age. My sister and I had had a chair that no one used anymore cause the cushion slid out all the time, so they lay it on the floor for the poodle! He and the cat loved it... much better used as a dog bed than a chair cushion, if you ask me. :-)
