Hi, my Buddy is the exact same way.  If he hears a loud noise, look out, he'll try everything in his power to run into the house where he'll hide in the darkest corner of my computer room.  And talk about being sensitive to storms, this guy is better than any weather report.  He usually acts strange (like if the sky is falling), and even though the sun is out, sure enough it rains!
