The last time someone emailed to the list about this type of behavior in a young Pyr, it turned out the Pyr had a brain tumor (inoperable) and had to be euthanized....Don't mean to scare you but your family needs to be protected from this Pyr...A Pyr has tremendously powerful jaws and you have been very lucky so far. Take the Pyr to a competent vet for tests, xrays, etc. The findings will tell you what you need or have to do. Please take care!
