Right the herding is for the heelers and herding dogs.  Pyrs will however 
gather and bunch a flock if they sense danger.  My rescue partners Pyrs 
saw and heard a loud back firing vehicle come onto their property.  They 
immediately moved their sheep from the paddocks into the barns until 
they could evaluate what that evil monster was!  They do the same 
when a predator is close or with smelling distance.
