Please consider that one of the main reasons many
people join these lists is to better educate
themselves, and in the case of this list, to better
educate themselves about Pyrs.  That being said, I'm
always thankful to learn more from people that know,
understand, and can relay to us the finer point of the
standard.  It doesn't mean that any dogs are being
"pitied".  It's just an honest comparison to the breed
standard.  I adore my Gypsy, but I'm not blind to her
faults nor would I choose to be.

I'm sorry, Jeannie,
that's not what I meant at all~~sometimes words and I need to make ourselves more clear~~
What I was trying to say is : No one needs to make excuses about their dogs~those dogs are their "loves"~~
it's the persons that view any of these "loves" as impyrfect, and therefore inferior, that are to be pitied~
any better ?~~I was just trying to tell everyone that dogs represent love~doesn't matter what they look like~anyone that has a dog is very lucky~~
just for a comparison~I've got a dog here that would be a force to be reckoned with in the ring~~but~~His temperament  leaves much to be desired~( sucks swamp water)  :)    He's scared of His own shadow~~I know it, ~~He's not pyrfect,~but~~I love Him~~ He's been altered so that this temperament will not be passed on~~~
