Hi!

I happen to know a fair amount about stones as my other favorite breed are 
Dalmatians. They have stones as their #1 health problem. I can tell you 
there are many different types of stones and it depends on the composition 
of the stone as to the treatment. Some stones are caused by chronic 
infection and do not require a diet change at all. These type stones only 
require antibiotics. Urate stones are the type that Dals form. They require 
medication(Allopurinol) and diet changes(Hills UD). I would think that the 
diet you feed your princess depends on the type stone. I believe the 
University of MN will analyze the composition of the stone. There was a very 
good article in Dog Fancy about a year ago about all the different types of 
stones and the treatments. I'm sure if you search the web you can find
