You are right, it does look enough like a Pyr.  There was someone on Ebay selling stuffed Pyrs, some were flat silhouettes and some were three dimensional, pretty much like this one.

 

At Christmas time I go to my local Cookies by Design to have them make cookies that look like my dogs for the kennel and the vet.  The pug is easy, they have a set model, but for the Pyrs they use the golden retriever model and substitute white frosting for the tan.  Looks very good and the recipients are always amazed.

(as well as a Borzoi?? & a Scottish Deerhound??)
