it is terrible.....right now it's -6 degrees here in Taos, with a wind chill factor of -21. Reminds
me of the days I lived in Lamoille, NV, close to Elko. Yes the snowbirds go down to southern
NM. Taos is only 60 miles from the CO state line. Dogs are still inside, but I do need to let
them out for runs. I'll bring them back in for breakfast in their crates. I too am concerned
about icy feet. I have 6 here at the present time. Luckily, we only had a few inches of snow
here in town. But yesterday the streets were a sheet of ice. I can imagine what it's like this
morning.
