Hi
I had a groomer do that to several of my pyrs. One idiot shaved my
male pyr and his tail. It looked like a rat tail and then he got kennel
tail! I had to keep it wrapped in ace bandage.
But, all hope is not lost. It will grow back and this summer he will
probably be quite comfortable. With the hot weather being a couple months
away it should be about 1 inch or so by then. There are products that you
can spray on for horses and dogs that contain a sunscreen and a bug repellant in
one. They are good for these shaved pyrs when they are outside. a
light misting does the trick.
Good luck.
