RE: [WW] Character Creation and more...

While I haven't got the rulebook, I'll take a shot at these questions:

-----Original Message-----
2) Lets say the OSI discovered a 14 year old boy that had some "occult
knowledge or ability." Would they recruit and send him to Normandy.....or
would they what? I have a player that loves to play teenagers...I am trying
to give him some good character ideas.
--------------------------

14 might be a little young for even a desperate high command. At 14, keep
him close to home and train him or use him in domestic operations. Now, a
16 year old is fair game. 15 would be a very shady age. Of course, the kid
could always lie....

--------------------------
3) Does anyone remember the old "Rat Patrol" series....does that sound like
a good campaign or what. Can you say Mummy.
--------------------------

I remember the series fondly. It'd be a good place to start a campaign and
one that could veer off into all sorts of places (Stopping Nazi infiltrators
attempting to get the locals to rise up in Arabia or Palestine; Protecting
the Allied leaders in Casablanca from Things Man Was Not Meant to Know;
saving a beseiged Rick and Loius and getting them back to Casablanca to
help....).

--------------------------
4) I am thinking of running an adventure for a Con based on the movie
"Kelly's Heroes." How many people on this list now this movie? I am kinda
worried that it might be to popular and to many people will know it.
--------------------------

I've seen the film, as will many WWII buffs (The ones most likely drawn to
the game at a con....). However, there's nothing to say you can't tinker
with the plot. Perhaps you have to try to stop Kelly because they're about
to unleash something (A miser virus, which will spread looting among the
Allied forces; the gold is keeping something weighted down; the Gold is part
of the treasure taken from the Second Temple in plunder by the Romans
following the Second Revolt; the gold is alchemical gold -- now on to find
the philosopher's stone and the Alchemist who managed the transformation.)

I hope this helps.
