Tank guns and arty are not really for small targets
like a man. As someone said if you want to kill a man
with a cannon tie him over the muzzle and fire it.

Tanks are basically steel boxes, it would be a really,
really big creature that could bite that. Mind you I
could see wheels and tracks going everywhere - so the
worm could get a mobility kill.
