[WW] Possible Errata Entries

i love the book and i've been going over it hard in preperation for
answering the players questions. Some things i've noticed, some of which
may not be wrong, some have already been touched on. i am an expert on
nothing, including WWII history, guns, the D20 system, grammar and so
on--i'm just trying to make sense of what's in the book.

Page 9: "....a few sidebars...." There's only one "What If" sidebar that
i could find and it was on p14.

p10: under A Note to War Masters it says "....you should check out the
section in Chapter Ten...." There is no Chapter Ten.

19: "The US Eigth Air Force...." Actually this is OK i think, but there
are other references to the USAF, which didn't exist until 1947 if I'm
not mistaken. Wasn't it the Army Air Corps doing the bombing over
Europe?

24: "Pilot" As already mentioned, there is no pilot class in the book.

25: "Starting Package:" Unfortunately, there are no starting packages
either.

26: The Grunt's Bombardier (INT) skill does not show up in the skills
chapter.

30: Weapon and Armor proficiencies for Medic/Nurse: They have no
proficiency with any weapons? Even Chaplains (p120) are proficient with
simple weapons and firearms.

30: "Improved Healing" example should say 1d8+3 instead of 1d6+3. And
the table doesn't match the text, but we all knew that already.

31: At what level does the Resistance Fighter get access to Cell, Forged
Papers, German Uniform, Safehouse, and Troop Information? Since the
group will travel, how often can safehouse be used?

51, 52, 53: The die mechanics for Set Charge, Defuse Charge, Mechanic
(and probably some others) use a "low d20 roll is good" type
rule--something d20 was expressly trying to avoid. No big deal, but then
it's easy to change to a "high roll is good" type rule.

52: Leadership: "Tactics" should say "Tactician."

54: The weapon in the picture is an M1919A4, not an M2.

55: Eye For Terrain: "Tactics" should say "Tactician."

57: The New Feats table has five feats missing: Mechanized Infantry,
Rocket Launcher Proficiency, Tactician, Tracked Vehicle Proficiency, and
Wheeled Vehicle Proficiency. Gyrostabilizer should have Gunnery
Proficiency as a prerequisite. Also under skills the Combat Medicine
skill should be Medic/Nurse only?(see description on p51).

80-81: Headings: Replacing "Ammo" with "Magazine" and replacing "Type"
with "Ammo" makes more sense to me.

80: Rifles: No. 4 Lee-Enfield should say 10M not 10S

81: Hand Grenades and Explosives: The Geballte Ladung should have a
Primary Burst of 16 not 8 (at least according to the "Combining Charges"
section on p52).

81: Antitank Weapons: Stats for the Panzerfaust 100 are missing.

81: Flamethrowers: The "Mk1" should be the "M1A1"

82: Antiaircraft Guns: "Flak37" should say "Flak 36"

82: Hand Grenades and Explosives: Why do the German entries have such
awful Range Increments compared to the English and Americans?

That's all for now.

Happy Gaming,
