I wouldn't worry about it.  The MG42 made a god awful amount of noise but was horribly inaccurate.  A while back the history channel had an interview with a german vet who was assigned the MG38 and the MG42.  His opinion was that you would actually hit more with the MG38.  The MG42 had such a high rate of fire that the vibration made it nearly impossible to hit anything.  He also said that it was difficult to have a burst of less than 20 rounds even with just a quick pull of the trigger.  Leave the wastage at 80%.
