[WW] Hasbro
I know its a little off-topic, but it relates to the D20 side of WW and
the future...
Hasbro/WOTC has some funny goings ons lately...
Hasbro has fired and is suing a top executive at its Wizards of the
Coast subsidiary for allegedly embezzling funds.
At the same time, the company announced that Wizards CEO Vince Calouri
is retiring. Chuck Heubner, a Hasbro executive, will replace him. The
two events are unrelated supposedly.
They have a contest worth over 100 grand for a new fantasy world.
More layoffs are expected soon (from WOTC).
The wane in popularity of Pokemon is possibly to blame for Hasbro's
money woes....?
Anyone else find Wizards web site a little.... busy?
