[WW] Shotguns (help please)

a few weeks back i asked about shotguns and got no rules clarification reply 
from anyone, can i get one from PEG.

i am confused by the shotgun range/bonus rules on page 89.  the text above 
the table seems to say one thing (+2 per range increment) while the table 
seems to say another. am i reading it wrong? please help this confused 
mind...
