This could be fun if everyone gets a night action.

an -observers game option.

with some extra commands:

werewolf observe username password who
werewolf sleep username password 
+ usual night actors actions... (or they can sleep instead)

So you get to see who was out last night, but not what they were doing.
They may have been observing as well :)

you'd only need to send out one wolf to do the killing..
maybe mafia only need to send out one hitman but wolves have to hunt in
packs.

Lots of fun options there.
We'll have to get to work on the v2 werewolf code :)
