[werewolf] end game stalemate, even number of players mode=day

113 ended in a tie.

2 wolves 1 illusionist voting for a seer
1 seer 1 angel 1 villager voting for a wolf

pretty much everyone agreed on who was what.

there's an argument that this should be a wolf win.

there's an argument that this should be a village win.

the decision was, this is a tie. I guess ties are ok.

Can we talk out the options and decide how this should be handled in
the future?

suggestions:

1) a two way tie goes a certain time, the village lynches both.
perhaps the same could happen in a three way tie. (probably in a
mafia game) lynch all three and bring on the night. in the
configuration 113 had, i think this would have led to a village
win. (as the next day, there'd be 4 players, with a 2-2 split and
the only way the wolf could win would be if 2 votes were for a good
and 2 votes were for the illusionist, but that wasn't going to
happen!)

2) coin toss or lottery to determine who swings. (i'd rather have
this than a tie!)

3) the game goes into "zen mode" all players must be quiet, and the
first player to send a chat is lynched. (again, this could go for
months BUT has the twist of perhaps lynching someone with no votes)
AND it would be fun to see someone chat "What's Zen mode?" and wake
up dead!

4) any time we get to an impasse, the two potential lynch victims
are given "immunity" and the voting starts again with only the
remaining 4 as potential lynch victims. This option REALLY favors
the wolves as this could go two rounds, and eventually the village
would be forced to vote between 2 non wolf players. MIGHT get the
illusionist that way, but then the next day, you might go from 4 to
2 to no choices.

5) recruit a new player. give him an even chance of being wolf or
villager. let him vote to break the tie. (this is sort of like a
coin toss) this also favors the wolves in that there's a 50/50
chance that then the wolves win rather easily. an option would be
for the immigrant's roll to be decided at random, given the current
population. so in 113's case, (2 wolf 1 villager 1 seer 1 angel 1
illusionist) the new player would be 1/3 chance to be a wolf and 1/6
chance to be each of those other rolls (villager, seer, angel,
illusionist) now that sort of adds up (in the case of 113) to 50/50

perhaps rather then recruit him, you could resurect a dead non
special player (not a wolf, mafia, mason, seer, angel or
illusionist) OR limit it to non-team players (not a wolf, mafia or
mason)

just my thoughts
