Not all of the Alphas dissapeared, only about 80 percent of them. And for
that matter if the Facade orchestrated the whole deal, that would mean that
he would know in advance that he could save his own ass, otherwise he would
never do it. Perhaps he even locked himself up in the Gulag with all the
imprisioned alphas to ensure his safety. It must be in the prison walls.
