[DL] Law Dogs, Bullards etc. (Steve Long)

Morning/afternoon, all.

I was wondering about the munchkin-favourite, the Bullard Express rifle.

I have been searching the web pretty exhaustively for images and data on
period weaponry, and can find absolutely nothing on the make. Nada. Zip.

I've found every other gun known to man. I've found guns you'll not see in
Law Dogs, or anywhere else. I've found everything BUT a Bullard, let alone
an Express.

I have, however, found a maker named Ballard, whose rifles come in every
conceivable calibre (up to buffalo guns). A typo, perhaps? They are also
specifically single-shot weapons, using a lever-action similar to a
Winchester to load and eject said cartridge, and a double trigger set to
cock and fire it. Complicated, but neat.

Steve, could you cite me your sources for said Bullard please? I'd like to
either find it, or toss it from my saga as not being historical (and pretty
unbalancing).

Thanks,
