[DL] Tombstone, Val Kilmer, etc.

Are you kidding me? Whoever mentioned that the Deadlands Doc Holliday seems
based on Val Kilmer's portrayal in Tombstone (of course it is), have you
ever checked out The Fourth Horseman, a book by one Randy Lee Eichoff.

It's the fictional tale of Val Kilmer, er, John Henry Holliday's life, and
if you can get over a certain pretentious quality to the writing that is
especially evident early on, not a complete waste of time.

But laws ha' mercy, if the author ever tries to claim that the story
(especially the dialogue and character mannerisms) weren't lifted right from
the film, he'd be perjuring himself.

Oh, and it was first published in 1998, lest anyone be wondering who ripped,
er, was influenced by whom.

Again, not a complete waste of time though...
