[DL] RE: "personal development plan"

My initial plan was that the god was
in fact Grimme and the blood magic (signing the contract) allows them =
to contract him - however it wasn't Grimme's voice the character heard =
as Grimme has better things to do with his time (had thought about =
making the voice - the Angel of Death).

It may be predictable, but I like the angle of Grimme or merely a manitous
that is jealous of Grimme. One of my favorite theories for Deadlands is
"Truth or Consequences." The player was a schmuck to behave that way, I
think you were kind-he could have just ended up as dinner.

The earlier suggestion of a servitor HOE style is excellent. I would start
to tempt him. He suddenly has many opportunites for evil behavior. Based on
his behavior, you can move along. Then, it would stop, you hold off for a
session or so. Then hit him with a whammy. This could be timed with what
happens on the road to hell. If the whammy goes right, you could give him a
hokie chance at pennance. If he chose the dark side, then his character
becomes damned and some type of vessel for whatever you decide is talking to
him.

Hope this is interesting to you.
