Us Mikes think alike. Here is one sure way to keep him from running off. If 
he leaves the group, tell him he has to wait until the main group gets done 
with what they are doing. Then have the whole night revolve around the group 
adventures, leaving him sitting and waiting. At the end of the night tell him 
his time spent alone was uneventful. He should get the hint that the game is 
for all and not just him. 

  Also, I must say that any fellow PC that takes a shot at my character had 
better put him down, cuz I won't miss when I shoot back.
