Ah. . . but this is Hell On Earth/Deadlands

"A 21. . . ?" looking at his stack of fate chips. . . Player picks up the 
dice.  "Let's do it."

I'd probably even lower the TN on the sole fact that this is a more 
interesting action than the typical combat "I shoot" "I blast" "I shoot".

But I've been contaminated by Feng Shui.
