Funny story about that...
I ran "The Destroyers" for the group before. My first run EVER. This group
was consisting of a Black Watch with a Humvee, A Templar (who i had to give
2 levels in one power for 7 levels in 3 powers), and the "descendent" of the
"Bandit" himself. Well, the templar killed brad.
However, somewhere... another Marshal, ran the same scenario for a new
group. The Templar didn't kill Modeen this time, just his 3 AT's. So in a
nut shell, he doesn't have the Taint of Modeen. And he's also a pacifist.
Its hard to describe but the look on his face when he HAS to kill Simon
should be worth it. Since this current posse has a Syker Merc and another
Templar (who's probably more deadly even with his 1/2 bro as an AT) who may
or may not make it to the game. I am not going to run it close to the book
on the final showdown. Baphomet's powers? Yes... but no the same scenario.
This is gonna be more cerebral than just having Baphomet "held at bay" by
Simon's will. Considering the locale of this fight, its gonna be probably
consisting of a TON of morlocks under Baphomet's control to be used as
cannon fodder. Also with Simon's ability to conceal himself with the
Rewards and Greater Rewards coupled with Baphomet's ability to "warp"
reality, it might be fun to see that Baphomet doesn't really escape until
the last fodder is used. I won't let him escape but... I will let him make
use of the "toys" he has to play with.
