Re: [PyrNet-L] Pyr Memories?

Don't know if this is related, but we are sure that the couple of times
Paddington has seen his momma and one of his littermates there has been
recognition between them. Ali and Indy won't allow other dogs near "their"
yard, and we had planned to wait until the owners came out, leashed them,
and let them all meet on neutral territory. But Paddington went over to
the gate, tail wagging, and was greeted the same way by the other two on
the inside. No problems, greeting and grooming behavior, licking faces
etc. Then the two "pups"--a year and a half--went into crazy play mode.
In terms of the bed--may not have been memory! When we put the futon down
in our guest room the first time we were actually going to have guests
sleep there, Paddington (about 3) went in and immediately made himself
comfortable
in the middle of it. He'd never shown any inclination to get on a bed, or
any of the other furniture! He doesn't usually come upstairs (his choice)
except in the summer when we have the AC on there at night, but when he
does, he'll occasionally go into the guest room first, and try out the
bed! Still never gets up on other furniture. Who knows what's going on in
his head?
