I agree with Judy. I know it sounds very harsh and there's tons of
reasons and excuses, but can you ever *really trust a Pyr (or any
dog) not to bite again? I know there are some (Dave Lam comes to mind
with his previous dog) that are cautious and knowlegeable enough to
make double sure their biting dogs are never put in the "wrong"
positions. But are there many people willing and able to do that? I
know I could if I HAD to, but I don't want to *have to. And I just
don't think I have whatever it takes to trust a dog again if he had
bitten someone. Pyrs are NOT bred to attack, it doesn't matter how
many times it happens, they're still not bred to do that. Take my
opinion for what it's worth, I've only got 4 Pyrs and I've only owned
Pyrs for 5 yrs. I just feel how I feel and know what I know.
