That's interesting. It's what I *expect* from all my dogs also. But
you can't breed out thousands of years of instinct. And the instinct
for ANY dog is to protect their masters. Just like mothers protect
their kids, dogs will always have it in them to protect us. Not by
"biting" but in hundreds of other ways. Alerting us, barking, and if
need be, hauling that rotten mugger off of us..........
