Janice, I didn't experience your post as a "downer" although I couldn't
help being both curious and moved by your mentioning the abduction of your
son. I'm sure he is never very far from your thoughts....how could he be?
I don't think you need apologize! Those experiences are so much part of
who we are, and sometimes sharing them with others who care for us, albeit
in a different context, can ease the burden a little. So thanks, for
trusting us enough to share that part of *you.*
