Yes I am doing the puppy and veteran Sweepstakes in Brighton.  I don't know
anything about the show or its site.  

Patti is right about shots.  Never take a pup on a show ground until they have
had their last shot against everything.  Rules at show clubs vary.  Some allow
dogs that are not entered on the grounds, some do not.  It might be good
socialization to take a pup to the show for a short time if they have had all
their shots and these were the final shots as recommended by their Vet.

If you have young pups back at home without their final shots, upon returning
home from the show, you might clean your shoes with bleach prior to entering
into you home again and/or the location of the pups.  Of course the same for
your hands.  Easy to do and very effective generally.  Use common sense and
try to not expose your young, possibly not fully immune dog(s), to these
problems that are easily picked up at shows.
