[PyrNet-L] to show or not to show

This is in regard to Heidi, also.  We have to make a decision within the next month. Should we consider showing Heidi or have her spayed?  We have never shown a dog before, so have very little idea of who to turn to for an evaluation as to her show quality.

 

The question did not even come up with our Samoyed because we new up front that altho' he is a "purebreed", his markings are not perfect & he is too tall.  This was evident in the very beginning.  This is not to disparage him in any way. He is smart & lovable & very good with Heidi & we love him most dearly.

 

Also, what kind of expenses are we liable to incur up & above the normal vet, nutrition & grooming costs we have at present?

 

We would appreciate any thoughts/advice on the subject.  Thanks.
