Re: [PyrNet-L] puppies and kids

I read these and I am chuckling-- as I have recently taken custody of my 3 yo twin
granddaughters and 8 weeks ago took in an orphan 4 wk old Newf/Shep puppy. All
are happy and thriving well-- Bosco is now 12 wks and 22 lbs and my house is a
maze of gates-- for the puppy, for the kids...... Will be glad when the high step
practice ceases at our house. I now know that Molly, the almost 4 yr old pyr
would have not problems doing the jumps if we were to do obedience. She will even
pop into the girls room a couple times a night to check on them, and will wake me
in the morning when they are up. As for the puppy, Molly has become an excellent
surrogate mother and has been very tolerant of the puppy antics including the tail
pulls. When she has had enough play with him, she just hikes over the gate and
gets away from him.
