Re: [PyrNet-L] New puppy

Welcome Eileen,
It is really hard to tell if a puppy is agressive or just playful puppy
without seeing her. 10-week-old pups can be a handful, they want to
play with and chew on everything. If you watch two puppies playing they
can be really rough, grabbing and shaking and growling. This does not
mean that they will be agressive. On the other hand, if the child was
not playing or rough-housing with the pup and was attacked with no
provocation that would not be ok. Do you live in an area where there is
a Great Pyrenees Club (they are listed on the Pyrnet Web page at
Pyrnet@gamers.net)? Perhaps you could contact a breeder who could help
evaluate your pup. If this pup is agressive, you need to return it to
the breeder immediately. Good luck. Keep us posted.
