Uh, well, guess my *personal* assessment from pictures I've seen of the dog 
is I would have to agree with you Joe.<VBG>  However, it was my recollection 
(still haven't checked the book, shame on me!) that was *Mrs. Crane's* 
assessment of the dog.  I'm thinking it was in Giffin's Complete Great 
Pyrenees book.  Maybe Mary Crane wrote an intro of forward or something.  
I'll see if I can find it. (Wherever I read it.)
