[PyrNet-L] Re: Ranger story!

Well the company has left, and we are trying to get back in to the old
routine. Just thought this might give someone a chuckle ( at the time,
I wasn't laughing )!

Last night as I was loading the dishwasher, Ranger kept sticking his big
head in it. I was getting more and more annoyed with him, as I verbally
commanded him to " get out " and kept shooing him away. He would go, and
be back seconds later. This kept up through the whole process of
loading, and I was getting ready just to put him outside, since he
refused to follow directions. I wish I had! Hubby called me over to
look at something, daughter walked by and yelled at Ranger to " get out
of there ", just as his dog tags caught on the rack. He panics and
attempts to turn and race off with the whole lower rack, loaded with
dishes and silverware, flying around the room attached to his collar.
All of us were trying to grab him, the dish rack, and whatever flying
dish we could manage! What a mess. He got comforted about the mean old
dish rack attacking him....and then got pitched out the door! And we
were busy for a while cleaning up and re-loading what we could, and
sweeping and cleaning up what was too broken to keep. Sigh....this is
getting back to normal?

I will say, the other three had the good graces to at least look
horrified, as much to say " whatever were you thinking, Ranger? ".

By the way, welcome to the new folks on the list! I've got to catch up
and get back in the swing of things!

Just a Pyr-story! :-) Cindy
