Glad things are going well, but I wouldn't "delare him fully housebroken by 
the weekend".  Zoe is now 13 months old, and generally very good.  But, it 
took her a bit to learn that the living room carpet was NOT the place to 
squat.  While you are gone, it is a good idea to keep him in the crate.
