Re: [PyrNet-L] Ivermectin - multi-dog discounts

Wow Robyn, that's a good thing to look into. Our Petsmart is about 45
minutes away, but for a lot of things it would be worth it. I guess I
get fed up with feeling manipulated. When Kemo was having such bad skin
problems I came out of the Vets with a $30.00 bottle of shampoo that was
lucky to do one Pyr. After that I picked up general medicated dog
shampoo, gave the pups a bath once a week for a mo. Rubbed the alcohol
on the spot and put a dab of cortisone cream on. Everyone cleared up
fine. I've read that when they chew their feet it tends to be a more
natural ( grass, plant type, spore, allergy ), so I really shampooed
their feet and legs well, and around their faces gently. A big $5.00
bottle of medicated shampoo vrs. a & 30.00 tiny bottle. Then we have to
look for ways to make heart worming economical. We do our own shots,
except for the Rabies and we wait for the clinic to hit the feed stores
and get them done for $5.00 with the roving Vet. I guess my problem is
in the area we are now, I have not found a Vet. I really, really like and
trust and feel that they work with us. I've had better Vets. in other
areas. I do plan to see what Petsmart offers though, thanks for the tip.
 Cindy.
