Absolutely! Clondike is a "corker". Had to go look "Antipodean" up though 
Jan, being that I am a much younger generation American! We have always used 
corker as a term meaning "she's a pistol", " full of life", " full of piss 
and vinegar- but in a good way" and also as a
term meaning "top-notch" personality. Haven't known many corkers- Lily the 
puppy with parvo was one. Clondike is certainly one as well!
