My husband and I are getting another dog for our 2.5 year old Pyr (Buddy). We live in CT and temporarily lived with my in-laws for a few months. They have a shitz zhu and Buddy and Cubby(SZ) bonded. Since we now have our own place, Buddy’s been bummed out, because now he's alone. We've been looking for several months for the right dog as opposed to any dog and we happen to find a Pyr Mix pup at the pound. He looks to be 3-4 months old. Buddy is very well socialized and the pup appears to be very mellow, just like our Pyr when he was a pup. I think this will be good for Buddy - I think he'll enjoy the new addition. For those of you who have 2 dogs in your house...how do you like it? Any advise/stories you could share would be great!
