Jenn and John, we'd never go back to being a 1-pyr household after
experiencing the two together. They're wonderful companions, and although
I know pyrs get along with most other dogs, there's something special
about two pyrs playing together and bonding. I expect a pyr mix would be
the same. The do play differently with each other. 
I'd just suggest that you introduce them to each other on neutral
territory to be sure there's no initial difficulty re Buddy's
protectiveness of his space and you, but in our experience it's been a
wonderful thing.
